To the Honorable Lord Mayor of ’s-Hertogenbosch

May 26th, 1942

Honorable Mayor,

I hereby request that you intervene in the following matter.

A very impertinent Jewish woman by the name of Rosa Regina Glaser lives in your city and she prides herself on not wearing a Star of David. The said Jewess was also active as a dance teacher and was forced to put an end to her activities on account of her background. She is the daughter of Falk Jonas Glaser Philips, a Jew residing at Koninginnelaan 23 in ’s-Hertogenbosch.

The Jewess has made life very difficult for me on account of my membership in the movement by pitting the public at large against me. She herself hangs around with men from the Wehrmacht and even pretends to be a National Socialist.

It is high time that this impudent Jewess be subjected to severe interrogation. The police do not seem to mind that this Jewess does not wear a Star of David on her clothing. She appears to have wrapped a number of surveillance officers around her finger.

I politely ask you to root out the problem once and for all.

Waiting for measures to be taken.

Hou Zee [the Dutch equivalent of “Sieg heil”]

M. L. Crielaars, to the new order
